Testimonials
From Ryan Arndt:
“I just got back from our Lost Coast hiking trip… we had a great time! The weather was good - a little raining the first evening, but then great for the next two days. I tried the backpack, poncho/tent, and stove. They all performed very well. I used the poncho as an open lean-to the first night and then just slept out the second night. I could have gotten it a little tighter, but it did its job well. I never needed to use it as rain gear. The stove was great, very easy to use. The backpack worked out well. I am hooked on the bottom pockets! I started out with about 20-25lbs in the pack and it felt good the whole time. We had to use bear canisters that added about 3 lbs and were a bit awkward to pack, but it still worked well.”
from Pascal:
“Hello, my name is Pascal. I am from Switzerland. In 2005 I walked from Switzerland to Istanbul, going through Italy and Greece. I did about 3000 miles on my legs…It was a kind of pilgrimage seeking the roots of Europe. I intented to have a backpack as light as possible, as I was to travel for months. In the beginning, my packpack weighted more than 50 lb !!! I suffered a lot in the beginning and but went through. At the end I had only about 25 lb left, which were easy to carry… Your website is exactly what I should have known about before doing this journey… If it possible to reduce 25 lb to about the half of it, as your website says, I want to do it !! I thank you very much for your website, which I will recommand (I just read the whole site through…). This seeking for lightness has become, since my travel, a philosophy of life, to use what is simple, necessary, multifunctional and light! - With many regards, Pascal Haemmerli”
